"When Did It All Go So Far"

Alright here's my 2nd submission for Protestfest & my 1st "Guerrilla Recording" as I think I will term it. I put some batteries in my br900, grabbed my uke, ( I have guitars with me for work but I can sit in the front seat comfortably with the uke) and set out this morning to come home with an original song recorded. I had about 50 min to spare after I drove from my morning gig to my afternoon one and pulled into a parkinglot by a 7/11 and some construction work. Set the 900 on the passengers seat, used the on-board mic,and sat in the drivers seat with my uke. I had the last verse and the refrain early, finished the lyrics on the drive (I mean granite) and once I was set up I recorded a few takes but always messed up a chord shape or progression, got one take that was ok but I still flubbed one chord quite bad. I forgot headphones so I couldn't listen to the results but as getting a good level, anyhow had to stop. Went to the job, got out and went back to the same parking lot, I was hoping the construction/traffic sounds would come through (talk about dedication to the craft!) an I love how it did. I did another take (2 actually) and got this one. I'm quite pleased, it's just one track with some extra chorus & reverb, then mastered with the orchestra comp. setting. Sorry for the long story but I plan on recording more this way and had quite a lot of fun, thought I'd share!  Hope you enjoy!
