what a groove man, what a forward moving flow here.   A real cranker for the car.  Very cool song.

I love that punchy up tempo structure with the dark lyrical content behind it. It really expands across the emotional spectrum well.

Great rocker here Geir. Some really nice melodic touches, like that little rising run on the bass (or low guitar) in the verse and I really like the section after "turn this boat around". Love the punchy production, a really tight sound. The drums sound particularly good - are they BR-80 or 800? Also liking the lyrics a lot, those evil clowns are in there!

Fab stuff my friend. Really enjoyed this.

Cheers,

Nigel

Shouldn't it be, "No Beans, No Wind" ;)

Great production. Really like the twin stereo guitars panned far out to left & right.
Really good vocals too.
Is the bass a real one, or a simulation? Either was round sounds pretty good to me 8)

Nice and dark, gritty, grooving just how I like it....

Both ! The two rhythm guitars and the bass all play the ascending run.

The drums are the "HEAVY" kit on the BR80. I think it's a set that can be used on more songs than just the "rockier" stuff. Also on the original MBR (and the 800 for that matter) this is a kit that shouldn't be neglected.

That's a real bass on this one, my Ibanez GSR200TR.

BTW. The slide guitar was recorded in a car ::) (just below 0°C outside) can't beat the portability of the Micros  ;)
