Sitting on a cliff
way out in the woods
my minds adrift
from the pain that runs in my blood
I can't seem to focus on my goal

Drifting from the ship
deep water all around me
floating like in a dream
no solid ground to be found
I can't even save the drowning witch

In the corner of my eye
I can't see no shore, no island in reach
time's running out

every muscle tired
every limb fatigued
every nerve on fire
consciousness on a spin
I can even see that clown with the evil grin

In the soundscape of my dream
I can't hear no birds, no wind
I can only feel the storm

The fog is getting thick
the thunder's getting close
the frogs fill up the bag
someone needs a fag
It is time to turn this boat around

In the landscape of my dreams
I can see an ever changing maze
I need someone to draw me a map

You show up on my door
pen and paper in your hands
I start to draw
a face with a smile
