ORH and Davidsons Martians underground reminded me of this one.
I saw this old Black and White movie on the Tv when i was about seven about the Martians landing on earth and living in tunnels under the ground and a young boy found out about them and that they were controlling the human race with little black box's behind there kneck, slowly taking over the town  and to his horror he found that his parents were also infested with the little black box's i cant remember but i think that is how it ended......it had quite an effect on me for days and weeks after i was try to  discretely check if my parents too had the little black box and were martians ....then it would make sense at the way they were...arh well i thought i'd share that little story with you ....it was the line "has nobody heard of mars underground" that prompted it thanks Jim for taking me back a great song...wish i could remember the name of the film...anyone else seen it..I'm sure i wrote something about it.....hold on there i'll go look...i did..i wrote this about a year ago about the experience of estrangement within a  family
