Boss BR-600: tracking to mastering. What else do I need?

I have a Boss BR-600 that my wife gave me about a year ago.  I'm interested in recording five acoustic and vocal tracks with the device, and maybe adding some backing guitars, cello, and rhythm later on.  What equipment do I need to provide a decent quality recording, including doing the mixing and mastering myself?

Everything you need is in the BR-600 except a good pair of headphones or monitors. The BR-600 will give you excellent results on its own, but you can add mics, software, etc. if you want to. You can mix and master right in the BR-600. Or, if you prefer to mix on the computer, you can use any software that can import WAV files. I use Audacity because it's free and does everything I need. A lot of people like Reaper and Audition.

Microphones would be nice as well. I've read that the best thing you can do to improve your recordings/mixes is what goes in and what comes out. Meaning, that microphone quality and monitoring quality are essential. I don't mix on earphones anymore, but if you do get a decent set. Come to think of it, I should start using them as a reference.

I agree with 64G, you don't need anything else, but a nice large diaphragm condenser is probably the one thing that will improve your recordings the most on acoustic work. A decent set of monitor speakers is nice to have, but not necessary.
