Well, I don't usually listen to cover songs because they are such pale imitations and I've spent so many times listening to the original.  I recognize the one that came over the radio and the alternate take by the original artist just isn't the original.  Like Johnny Cash's I Walk the Line:  There is the Sun original pressing and the Columbia re-recording by the same Johnny Cash but it's just not the original!  Anyway, you have a fine voice of your own.  I know of Tom Pettyand have a CD of his,but I don't know this one, so your cover isn't a cover for me; for me it IS the original andyou create finbe music.  Maybe you'd agree to sing some of my lyrics and it wouldn't sound so horrible as my feeble attempts at artistry.  Vic
