Here's a cover I did just out of inspiration from this forum about an hour ago. It's all first take-so I don't know? go easy on me?

What a great voice you have there.  Pretty tight sounding for a first take kind of thing.  Did you play guitar and sing at the same time or use two tracks?

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Thanks! I did it the same time. I just used a cheap MXL mic into my mixer then into the RCA Line ins on the BR900 onto a stereo track.

Thought it was one take. Sounds great to me mate, well played and sung. Lot of the time I enjoy doing and listening to "simple" acoustic stuff more than complex scratch built projects.

Hey man, Great work and good choice of song.  STP is awesome. Acoustic sounds primo.  What is it?

Thanks! It's an Alvarez tuned down a whole step with a little chorus from my mixer's fx. I really wish I could afford a Martin though:)

P.s. It has GREEN strings on it (DRs)

I haven't heard the original one but your version was played, singed and sounds 100% professional.

Thanks man! I'm a huge fan of STP's first 2 albums. After that- to me they totally changed thier sound.  Some of it's alright, but it's just not the same :'(
