A friend of mine suggested I should make a Price cover. Never liked him much, but neverthless I picked up the guitar, searched the chords on the net and started playing and singing, slowly, to check the chords. I noticed the lyrics were surprisingly dark and voilá, here's my depressive and psychotic version of a 80's hit.

Quick cover, everything recorded in a few hours, but it spent some time mastering, basically because I wanted to add a ping-pong echo on the vox(es). I decided not to, since it was too confusing. Echo is a complex stuff! BTW, the bass is a cheap 6string from Thomann. I'm playing in the LOW bottom... Oh, and the drums were "played" with a keyboard.

Cool cover, DSS - it was difficult to get through the Eighties without hearing (or seeing, on MTV) one Prince hit song after another. I never got into his stuff, but I did like some of his songs and this was one that I liked back then.

Nicely done, and I dig the musical re-interpretation.

excellently dark.... I was only a Prince fan in the eighty's I think it was when very drunk dancing to I'm gonna party till its 1999 or what ever it was I can't emember as I said I was only a fan when inebriated ......but I'm sober now and I like this .....
