I'm not sure of the genre, but it appears to fit here, not in trance, drum something or the other. Contains a few looperman.com loops, notably Alen9R, Guitarguru, Optimistic, Nightingale Gastler and Edge7.  Also includes Sony Acid loops and me on vocals. No pirates were shot during the making of this track. (Remixed, rewritten, remashed and possessed on 12-21-2011)

Madness, but in a good way! Love the title and the concept, great fun Viggy. Another great Vigwig wig out!

I was beginning to think no one cared.  Until you came to the rescue(or did you draw the short straw?  In any case, thank you for the feedback.  These little tunes just come out of the blue.  Vigwig

Vig.. I listened to this one yesterday, but got pulled away from my computer before I could comment. As any of your tunes... I think they are very masterful the way you cut and splice little snipits of loops rather than just letting them play out as the original loop probably does. This is quite an art as I learnd for myself. I love the way you are able to express your humor through these creations. Puts a smile on my face every time... this one had me grinning from ear to ear bro... Way to go.

Ratatat,
It is indeed a challenge to get the sound I want and one has to listen to the whole loop0 sometimes and detect a loop within a loop. And ther a bunch of ways to move around and go from folder to folder, trying to remember where that loop is.  Sometimes I cut a part that I don't like or clashes with the rythym.  And I tend to use guitars that growl and solid kicks and basses and this sometimes affects the vocals.  You can also pitch them higher or lower which then gives another sound  You try different techniques to make it vary a little, so it doesn't sound flat. You might also speed the song up or slow it down.  I still haven't found an undulating beat like in slow songs and blues.  I could talk all day just to give you how I do it.  I have varied my voice a little but bad singing comes thru most attempts to warp it or cover it up.  My arthritis and my Parkinson's effects on me make it a particular challenge and I am so glad they made an undo button.  Sometimes I think just plain old spoken word without music is what the smart way to go is, but lately I have been trying for more.  Vic

Ah Vic, just fantastic! Have not been able to listen to much since beginning of december, but obviously missed another classic of yours with this one! Only you could ask 'does your momma eat yoplait?' and make it work in song! Slight disappointment that no pirates were shot though!

loved it

It's just a question of time! The title to this one had intrigued me for a while and I wanted to take a listen, but time is so short and there's so much stuff to listen to. There's a few more of yours in my "to do" pile! And thanks for sharing about how you work as well.

Cheers,

yeah, you're right, Robbie.  I think I've met a vein here that can be mined for more everyday phrases and scenarios can be found.  Thanks for the review and comments.  Iam stuck for a week in MD and all my gear is back home in texas.  Merry Christmas to you and yours, from me & mine.  Vic
