i had trouble with the players on several songs...had to hit 'refresh' each time and then they were ok...

Loving this - particularly the guitar solo. Lyrics are pretty impactful as well, clever juxtaposition of a serious comment with a "light" style. Great vocals and really polished production. Very impressive work, nice to see you back!

Thanks Nigel..and all you other kind folks. Much appreciated.  I wasn't gonna post this because of the contradiction in styles but then it occured to me that that's kind of how the war has gone. Nobody even talks about it anymore...and yet people die. it seems more of just some annoying "situation" that people have gotten so used to that they have stopped caring.
  I see you have been absent here as well Nigel. Liked Onslaught alot. I usually write and play in the summer and record in the winter, but this year my mom had major health issues starting last January and i was the main caregiver until July when she passed away. Alot of emotional baggage from the year that also went into this song tonally. Thanks to all who drop by for a listen. Hopefully there will be more music soon...

Nice to hear from you again.  Crisp production.  The boppy music belies the lyrics.  As I listened closer, I noticed the darker hue (I read the description after the fact). Corker of a solo.
