Nigel ... Your musicianship is always fantastic and intriguing to me and this
is no exception ... love your experimental jamming and creations!!!

Ohh ... and on drum programming???  I feel your pain  ... I've learned
to be careful about indulging on creating drums patterns at the wrong
time because it has sidetracked me too many times ... but they sound
excellent on this ... NICE TUNE!!!

Thanks for the additional comments all, been meaning to answer some of the comments/questions:

@ Pinedog - actually this is a mix of humbuckers (on the Jagmaster) and my Tele. The left/right distorted guitars in the "big" riff are Jagmaster, but the central guitar on the second part of the riff (and the two flanking guitars) are all Tele. The first detuned solo is Tele, the second solo is Jagmaster.

@64G - agree on the drum loops. I wanted some "real" playing but I kind of feel its cheating. It also took a long time to get the loops stitched together into a seamless track in my DAW. Some of them were a little "off" in terms of the start and finish so I had to do a lot of shuffling around. I'm hopeful about the Performance Pad. I tried it in the shop and seemed to get on quite well with it, but we will see.....

Thanks again for all the positive feedback, it is much appreciated.

Cheers,

Nigel

Very creative.
Exploring can be so exciting.

This sounds just great.
From the tones to the mix.
Of your playing is to die for.

Programming drums slows my creative process down so much,
that I gave up on it.
I use what's in the Br already and I beat on my Bjembe for a little variety/ flavor.

A lot of tasty things going on here or should I say.

Hell yeah!! Delicious groove you have going on here, Nigel! Killer bass line and some great chords with Lifeson-like solo licks.

Another listen, sounds killer!

Nigel,

Great guitar sounds, I love the effects you get.
Drums were tight and solid, it must have been a lot of work
but really came out sounding great.

VERY NICE! Loving the time signature. Fripp meets Zappa? I like to use loops  of recorded drums but can never be bothered to program entire songs...

First listen Nigel.... wow. Onslaught, lol well named. Man this makes me think 70's Black Sabbath in the groove part (and this would have been a hit for them tweaked fully into a format song). The bass has got to be one of my favorite parts, but yes this collision of sounds and notes blends together so well, and is oh so "Nigel-ish".. missed it, and I LOVE it. MORE MORE!!
