Just Windows Movie Maker... it's has annoying habits (the editing and storyboard features keep falling over / hanging etc), but did what I needed it to (in the end...). It also outputs the movie with a proper stereo soundtrack, which sadly seems to get squished to mono on Youtube.

I might do a couple more, but I don't want to have this distracting me from writing and recording the songs themselves!!!!

I also liked the images in the slideshow as they were more personal to me. But it did look a bit amateurish compared to proper moving images. Also, I love the film I took the footage from, so it was a win-win situation really.

It reminds me of what I used to do as a kid:

Turn the sound down on the TV, put some music on, and watch the actors on the screen 'performing' the song. That was a long time ago though!

Tim if you do want to use video in the future check out
ImTOO dvd ripper.it rips video with or without sound.
just an example.......stick a dvd in click rip and it rips the lot.
or specify what segment you want and it will do that too.just enter start/stop time.

This is powerful stuff Greeny. There is no doubt the song stands alone but the visuals put it over the top. It's a multimedia generation. I've GOT to learn how to do this!

total entertainment.i thought the sambongo vid was ok but this was Brilliant.this site has always been entertaining but this has taken things to another level
