i just loaded song into my mbr, and it doesnt work for me, find it difficult to sing along with the steel string guitar, it is quite distracting any chance you can post a mix minus the steel string.

Same again without the steel string. I should have done it slower. Enthusiasm makes me speed up.

Oldrottenhead

it still has the same part thats distracting, the high picked guitar that is panned fully left.

Perhaps I could just do the basic arpeggio on one guitar and nothing else and add more later. One problem though, I've not got any idea how to load songs back on to the MBR. It obviously can be done, ORH, as you have done it yourself. How easy is it to explain?

Plug it into the PC via USB (Or take the card out and shove it in a card read slot). Opens as a drive ... put the file into the MP3 folder. Eject the MBR by right clicking on the drive icon and selecting from the popup menu. Make a new song on the MBR, and import the song onto a pair of tracks. [tr12v1] (Utility, song, import I think, then search through the MP3's for the right one). Link the tracks and pan them max. Playback and record on the other two tracks.

I think I understand that. Can you help if it all goes wrong. Cheers!

if you post a basic backing track, i could try that then you can overlay more guitar. its very easy to import an mp3 into a song.

put the mp3 into the folder mp3 on your sd card, you can do this by connecting your mbr via the usb cable or if your pc has an sd card slot do it that way.
once song is in folder turn on your mbr and create a new song.
press utility and select track, then use the right cursor till you see imp on the screen select that, then select the mp3 you want to import, then select track destination 1 and 2 v1. then after a minute or two the mp3 will be on tracks 1 and 2. press trk 1 and 2 together and a the pann each track 50 left and 50 right to get full stereo spectrum then use tracks 3 and 4 to add your guitar bits.

Right, I'll have a go at that. I'm a bit of a slow in the techno department but I'll do my best. Get back to you soon....

Hi ORH, here's another attempt at our collaboration. I've given a 9 second intro. If you sing the song straight through, you should take 60 seconds. After that, I've put on some extra guitar. up to 60 seconds, it's just the arpeggios for you to sing with. I'll add stuff to that once the voice is on.....I hope this is going to work! Very interesting whatever happens!
