Nope, not pushing an agenda, just something I came up with.
Recorded on BR1200, mixed in Sonar.

Lyric:

Sweetheart/Jesus.

Should the good Lord ever feel the need
To look up my home town

But I can see what Sweetheart says, for me, is all in vain
And Jesus got enough Friends anyway.

So every prayer that passes by
Must need a little faith
And Sweetheart's got the will to wear me down -
But I'll keep my powder dry
And settle for the day
When the Good Lord comes to my home town.

Though should a close encounter with
The good Lord come my way -

Then Sweetheart says Today you've come to Jesus etc.
And Jesus found a new Friend here today.

Sounds Like Gritter with flares of U2 at times which is a massive plus point for me!

Loving the lyrics here, you've painted the picture nicely of someone that just doesn't get religion but is intrigued by it. The track is really nicely put together, great arrangement, I like the clap percussion sound over the drums. Perhaps the guitar lead work could be a bit higher in the mix? Nice work though, great songwriting.

Superb  this is a hit. could stand more of a better mix
but ona christain station or pop in general this would
