OK guys here is another original song. This time in Swedish, so you might not understand the lyrics. There are actually three new things for me on this track; first of all, obviously, a lyrics in Swedish. Second, it is the first song recorded on my dads new BR-800, which really is a joy to work with. Third, it is the first time I used distorted piano, which the track is based on. I lined my keyboard on a "Honky Tonk" setting, adding an overdrive modular on the BR-800. I'm really happy with this, I got some great response from my friends. The chord structure is quite unusual (using a Bdim when playing in A major) but it actually works really well with the melody. Have a listen!

Hi Mattias, this is really a nice tune love,in the listen, maybe bring the piano up a little, the vox and guitar fill are excellent, of course I don,t understand the lyrics, always great to hear different languages, great tune.

thanks! I actually tried bringing up the piano, but it got all mushy with the rest of the mix. maybe I should have put all instruments more separated by panning, I don't now.

Really nice song, clever combination of sounds and it sounds great sung in Swedish. IMO the piano does need to be higher in the mix, if you can work out a way to do that I think it would add more atmosphere to the song. But it still works very well as it is, I really liked the guitar work.

Cheers,

Really nice song Mattias.

Love the distorted piano (agree with nigel, it could be higher in the mix). And really good heartfelt lyrics as well.

Well done !
