Thanks everyone.  Haven't listened to this in a long time.  I think now I could do a more confident vocal (maybe in a higher register even) and a probably better mix.  I may try that, although I get no time to do stuff anymore.  None.

You're not wrong. As a non-keyboard player, it's about the only Dan track I could even attempt.

I am a big Steely Dan fan. And their Katy Lied album was. Superb.

Someone introduced me to the Dan in the early '90s.  For a long time Katie Lied was the only album I had (of theirs) and I played it to death.  I love it.  Now I have their greatest hits as well.  One of my all-time-faves; I think the guitar playing and song writing is as good as you'll hear anywhere.  Litterally.

Very difficult to cover Steely Dan!!!

Dang right, and very well done at that.  Love the guitar work and the vocal much more than adequate.  The sound captures Steely Dan which is the hardest part.  Great cover, thanks for posting.    I give it four grins.  (I'm not really rating songs)
