this is my attempt at slow moves by jose gonzalez. great song by a great artist. i only got the guitar tab for it a few days ago, so the playing is a bit sloppy. AND the microphone i used to record it all makes quite a loud hissing noise. as a result, you can hear when i am punching in and out of the tracks on the vocals. if anyone knows a solution to this, other than buying a new microphone, please let me know. thanks.

very reminiscent of CS&N with the harmonies that you do and i don't hear anything sloppy what so ever. nothing wrong with the recording at all.

I don't know the original, but I like this a lot. It's gentle and moody, and you've got a great acoustic tone on the guitar.

Re: punching in clicks on the vocals - I get this too. All you need to do is record over them on the 'GTR' setting via the input button (with nothing plugged into the guitar socket!).

Re: the microphone - have you tried the internal mic on the BR? That's all I use, and it's great for both vocals and acoustic recording. Just experiment a bit with placement and effects to find your own sweet spot.

as regards to the mic, i haven't really used the internal one much. the one i have is a shure mic. it cost me £150, so i figured it would be better. plus, i can position it using a mic stand. but i may give it another try.
