anyone play a synthesizer much?

I'm thinking of getting a miniKorg.  Don't know if anyone has any negatives I should know about.

YouTube is the ideal place to check lots of synths out. I had a few - started with a Korg MS-20, still have an ARP Odyssey, a old Kawai K1 and a D-50 but I'm more into guitars these days. Korg R3 and RADIAS sound awesome - MS-20 used to go out of tune a lot esp. in hot weather, ARP keyboard was fragile I had to had solder the wires underneath to repair quite a few keys.
