Snowstorm Blues (Guitalele)

The first major snowstrom of this winter hit this morning, son is home from school, I called in sick. I got a chance to try to record something, quick and dirty. I recorded this into my BR-80 in LiveRec mode. Just turned on the machine, looked out the window at the falling snow and played what my fingers felt like. You can hear my son's voice at the end.

This was played on my Yamaha Guitalele. Its like a Uke with 6 strings. I tune it to the equivalent of DADGAD, like a guitar in DADGAD capo'd at the 5th fret. These are wonderful little instruments, and hours of fun.

Nice playing BB! And thanks for telling us about the Guitalele and posting the link. I hadn't heard of it before but it sounds like it would be a good instrument to have. And only $99! I might have to have a look the next time I'm in Long & McQuade.
