as it was the great mans birthday last week, thought I might try the rock version of this song (already did it for LitLR a few months back). First stab at a) playing bass with fingers on sraight 8th's, so I know there are timing issues! and b) double tracked the main vocal..not convinced!

anyway, happy belated birthday Mr Young

I love that FAT BASS!! I`ve heard many different versions of this and this is extremely good and my fave!

The vocals are amazing and the guitar solo is kick ass!  What you use for drums may i ask?

Andy.... man, you kick butt on this.  Heluva tribute to a musical genius.  Always been one of my favorite Neil songs, but there are a lot of those  :D  I wish bands I've been in covered this song half as well.  Well done!  Geo

Thanks for listening!

I found this to be really good!!  Had my toes tapping and singing along!!  You really rocked it.. I am so envious of those who can play that jiving type rhythm!!  I can't do that but wish I could!! ROCK on!!

once again guys thanks for all the kind comments, must say in all the recording I have done recently I am really enjoying playing the bass most, I never got it in the past, but there is something really soul satisfying about thumping about with those big strings...killing my fingers though! lol
