gary is a colleague from work, i knew he played a bit of guitar but had never heard any of his stuff, we crossed shifts on sunday, and gary let me hear one of his tunes on his piepod. luckily i had my micro br with me (never go anywhere without it) and recorded from gary's piepod via the line in to my mbr to two tracks. that night i wrote and sang a very rough take of lyric and vox.

when i got home the next day i rerecorded the vocal.

update gear info from Gary:  "It was recorded on a mac book pro through a mbox 2 into logic 9, mic was an at4040. My guitar is a yamaha APX-5-12A, which is a 12 string but I use it as a 6 string."

as usual Jim, you never cease to amaze! I loved the vocal, loved the guitars and the whole feel, reminded me of John Martyn at his very best. The licks with the 2 accoustics were great, tell gary he's a talented bloke
