I started this one before my previous U2 post ... but couldn't get the vox quite right ... had a small vodka to loosen my vocal chords today and was moore pleased with it .. redid the drums and added a slide guitar and ... well here it is ... the one I said I'd post ....

Congratulations! I liked your "trying to throw...." but in my opinion, your voice excels in your lower register like on this one! And it is amazing how you can change to a higher register in the same song while keeping the character and personality of your voice. This may sound weird, but for example, when I change my register it seems a voice from a different person. Oh, and technically, I get out of tune. But that never bothered me before ;-)

Anyway, great version with a lot of character, very "Geirish", top production (the bass sounds awesome; maybe the slide guitar could be a little higher in the mix).
