Are there 10667 posts per mile?

I thought posts were 6 feet 3 inches apart.....

Which makes it 845-ish posts per mile..  Just thinking....

Is that a land mile or a nautical mile? A nautical mile is 6,000 feet.

And what about astronomical measurements? Try that measurement on light years.

The numbers quickly boggle the mind. I don't believe there is enough wood on the entire planet to make that many posts.

We'll need to establish a working group to come up with some standards, I think, there's just too many variables and too much open to interpretation.  It's a mine field.
