Starts great and keeps getting better.  Big rock anthem.  Never heard the original but always assumed Arcade Fire were more jangly indie.  Standing ovation...

Now that is what we are talking about.  Good Canadian band from Montreal.  I love them.  You have done it once again Andy, outdone it I may say.  I totally love your version here.  I really love the organ sound there.  Vocals are out of this world.  Its all good.  Your daughter has good taste in music I must say.  Right at 2:12, thats gold man, so good.  I am floating away with you here...........

There is so much more the Arcade Fire than the casual Arcade Fire listener realizes.  Very little in the way of indie-jangle in fact.  One of the best bands in the world right now, especially live.  IMHO of course..........great, great version of this song man.

Never heard this song before.  I think i don't want to listen to original cause this version is brilliant.  I suppose i must in the interests of interests.

thanks guys, for all the kind comments, I really do know nothing about the band, so thanks BB for enlightening me they are Canadian, I downloaded Miroir Noir just because this track is on there - studio version (whch I really love the way it kicks in, but too short!) and a live take at Maida Vale, which is what this is based upon

If/when you listen, you will realise this is not perfect, and the singer has such a distinctive voice I cannot duplicate, what I would really like to see/hear is Reg have a go at this one, his voice is perfect for it.. so Reg if you see this and fancy a crack let me know!

And finally a thanks to India, who is quite honestly freaking me out by being really into this genre at 13 years!
cheers
andy
