One for LITLR? I just recorded it this morning in the sun-room using Audacity and an AKG DM 700 dynamic mic. Why a dynamic mic? Because it was already set up, lol. This solo instrumental is called Alerro and I'm using my $60 Dean Espana classical guitar. This is the first time I've recorded this guitar and it didn't do bad for a cheapo. Here it is with flubs, over aggressive strumming, and a few body bumps with my thumb. Also it's a drop D tuning.

I plan on doing a proper studio recording of this song with the solo classical guitar but for now I hope you like my LITLR (sun-room) song!

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

Stunning guitar work, Farrell! I like the vintage sound of the classic guitar! It could be good idea for a studio recording, but I like this a bit "rough" production, fits well on this! Very nice LiTTlr music!

Nice playing, Farrell.

Since the Live in the Living Room festival just ended a week ago, I've decided to add this song as a late entry. However, I won't be adding any more songs to the Live in the Living Room festival after today.  I think the scope of the festival is too broad to continue it. It's really about a method of recording rather than a style of music. A few members record all or most of their songs live in the living room. It doesn't seem right to continue adding all of their songs to the LitLR festival. The other festivals, however, have a narrower scope (especially the artists/covers festivals) and I'm happy to continue adding to them for the foreseeable future.

Nice pickin. Not a bad sound at for a budget guitar. Maybe it's just the time of the year but dare I say it's got a bit of s festive feel.

Nice picking, Farrell.

I'd be interested in hearing a remix with all the instruments.

On a piece like this, a cheap guitar is the icing on the cake. It gives it a down home feel that you just can't get otherwise. This is without a doubt an inspiring piece of music.

This is what I love about the LiTLR festival. You get to see what everyone is like straight up and stripped down.

You are made of the sterner stuff dude.

Amazing skills! I could listen all day.
