i noticed all the members i've seen are male. i was just wondering if we had any female members here? when i was a teen, i didnt want a female in the band, now im not as narrowminded, if you're good, you're good! simple as that.

We currently have 17 members who have the Gender field in their profile set to female, though there could be more who didn't set the Gender field. Most of the female members don't post very frequently. Only 4 of the 17 have posted more than 20 messages. And only 5 have logged in to the site in the past three months.

It has always struck me as kinda strange too.  I used to run a car forum and we had lots of very active females (although it was pretty male dominated).  I would have thought music was more appealing to wimmins than cars - but there ya go.
Fender 50s Reissue Tele (Mex) - blonde

One of the two female singers in my real life band quit last Tuesday. :(

Flash, easy to replace her voice. Just pick a member of the band that you don't like all that much and clamp a vice grip onto his/her little toe, at the appropriate part of the song where a three octave high contralto voice is needed.
Probably will work best for Halloween-style music. Where lots of screams are required.

My two cents.

I got my sister to set up an account on here (mbee), she has a cracking voice and has done one musical post so far!

I think she is possibly doin a vocal on one of 64's Fleetwood Mac backing tracks but dont know how this might be progressing???

I wonder about it too, and is not the first time. Having worked with some female singers I noticed that they are not talking too much about it, they just do it (and amazing fine, as you heard). Are they more feet on the ground/head on their shoulders ?

Vise grips in other places work quite well too. LOL

Don't forget the needle-in-the-eye thing. That one is a crowd-pleaser.

not too keen on needles in the eye or vice grips applied to any parts (dangling or otherwise), only girl I've come across is my 13 year old daughter singing on one of mine from last weekend - and all I can say is that if it takes the same amount of persuasion for her to do it again... I won't be rushing!
