Witchita,
I'm working on my language skills too. Actually I have to use english at my work everyday but mostly with german and spain hotels so I got some strange accent from them  ;)

I can learn you some if you want to speak polish.
Let's start from the beginning:
Good morning - Dzien dobry

Do you want me to record a sound sample for this? :)

tafka

its ok Marcin as flasharry can testify i have more than enough trouble with my own language.(english) although i am welsh.
lubię wasze granie na tym śpiewie

did i get this right?

Tony J.
and if the sun should fail to rise against my
shoulders one last time...

Woohoo!    ;D
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

Witchita,
You really impressed me!
Almost correct:
Shoud it be "I like your playing in this song"?
In polish there a different words for
you - "ty" (singular)
and
you - "wy" (plural).
And "wasze" means Yours (plural).
A song in polish is piosenka but singing is spiewanie.
So "Lubie Twoje granie w tej posence." would be 100% correct.
You was close though (I did understood it correctly, right?). Polish is a difficult language to learn. As far as I know the Asian have less problems to learn it because their launguages are totaly entangled. :)
I'm sure you'll get better soon in both polish and english if you'll practise enough.  ;D

Flash,
I just noticed - I hope you didn't got injured. That's the worst thing that can happen to a musician. If you did - get well soon!
And about recording - you are right. A knowledge of recording, mixing is very helpful if you play in a band. The same about playing other instruments.
You must admit that Witchita is getting better, doesn't he?  :)

Sounds great, nice tone, theres nothing wrong with your vocals IMO.

Just to chime in I've found that learning how to mix has not only improved my personal ability, but has greatly improved how our band balance's our mix when jamming. This leads to everything being heard better which in turn makes us all better players because we can actually hear the mistakes, or easily pick out thing that do not fit so well when writing original material.

Anyways welcome to the board! Looking forward to more.

Good sound and A1 playing. I too have a problem recording my singing, I have to wait for everyone to go out and make sure both sets of neighbours are out before I will try.
I hate hearing myself sing.  Over xmas my mum heared me singing a radiohead cover and then hadit played at my sisters xmas party.
Jesus I had red cheeks even though it went down quite well...

Thanks guys!

Well, I'm just starting to sing - my wife encouraged me to try. I think if we'll get better we won't have such problem.

I thought that was fine, and there is nothing wrong with your voice either. As you get more into the MBR you will find lots of tricks to improve the way it sounds if you are not happy with it anyway.

Your English is better than my Welsh, which is sadly non existent  :-\

Da joben butty!!

I am satisfied with the sound I get from my MBR but I'm not with the sound I get from myself. Unfortunately this is one of those things MBR cannot improve  :)

rythmking24

really good. you have decent voice, from what i could hear ( the vocals could have done with more volume though ). the guitar playing is awesome and a brilliant tone to go with it aswell. nice one.
