Raine

Hello everyone

My name is Tero, I'm from Lempäälä, Finland 33 years old, father of two. Hmm, starting to sound like a job application. Anyway this is my first post, I found here a couple of weeks ago when reading about the Br-80 and have been reading a lot of threads since. I can't but wonder the warm spirit you've been having here, it seems to be rather rare on forums these days. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute. I've also been listening to a lot of songs posted here and the quality of songwriting is sometimes hard to believe. A lot of really good songs. And the Collaboration part is awesome.

I'm not much of a player or a songsmith, but love to do them both, any instrument will do. I've had the Br-80 for about a week now and whenever there's a break (not too often when you have a two-year old and a two months old :)) I'll plug in a guitar or strum a little acoustic. A great little device,  just about perfect for songwriting. If only Roland will fix the 4/4 time signature "bug"..

That's about it for now, I'll go and have a listen to what original goodness there's posted today.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Welcome to Songcrafters, Tero. We have at least three other members from Finland, including one who is a fairly frequent poster and happens to have a BR-80.

Don't be afraid to ask questions and upload some of your songs. We'd love to hear them. And please consider recording something for our U2 Fest or our CityFest (songs about cities). Both festivals started today and run till Dec 31, so there's lots of time to record something.

I thought I was the only member from Finland before Tero.

Douglas and the kurtz both entered Finland as their location in their profiles. There may be others too. Not everyone enters their location, and some people might put the city but not the country.
