Well - I made the mistake of reading the comments before listening (I don't usually listen to guys singing about "the twins"). Had to make an exception in this case though.

It's a really clever and truly upbeat song, and  if that's a ukele on that bass line, then I'm duly impressed as well.

I'm confused about the 'fake uke bass'  Do you mean that you're using a Bass Sim patch on the 800 and driving it with the uke?? (I think that's what you mean..)  Then I 'm really impressed with the bass sim.  Sounds really clean with no artifacts.

I guessed you would ask that Hooper ... and you are right. It was a bass sim patch I used, slightly modified. As they are meant for guitar and the ukulele's lowest note is a C4 (on mine at lest) I needed to go two octaves down. I used the "P60-OctWahBs" and turned off the wah and set the balance between one octave and two octaves down to about 20-80. Made sure I didn't get to hot signal when recording the "bass" and amazingly it worked rather well. Good to know when travelling and don't have room for a guitar

Loved it in all depeartments...what an instrument (the musical one i'm refering too:) Ukle, cool man..It reminded me a bit of "The immigrant Song" 'Led Zep....but i'm a nutter:)
