Song inspired by my sons current filming project (checkout kermitcasson on youtube -VT), about fallen angels
We had a bit of a debate about whether to keep it accoustic throughout (more strings/synth etc.) or let rip with the rock (which I have done after 2nd chorus), but would be curious and grateful for opinions. I think the rock works well, but like the start as well

Double tracked the accoustic man riff and the electrix, sorry for the delay on the vox, can't seem to summon up the courage not to use it! The really messy solo at the end is intentional....

Great song Andy...superb vocal....i like it the way it is lots of feeling in both vocal and music.......but couldn't find the clip you mention Fallen Angels....... I have been checking out your sons films though on you tube excellent stuff just love what happens in Texas brilliantly shot along with the others....whispers another good one.....and the Harry potter....a star in the making....Good tutorials as well for After Effects which i have just bought and trying to get my head around....and great show reel

Hey Reg/trev, he has not posted this yet, from what I underatnd he is filming 4-6 short episodes, he did a stack of filming with his crew thurs/friday last week for episode 4. His plan is to have them all ready and then release 1 a week from what I can tell (and I am only his dad, so as you can imagine I am the last to know!)
But the VT (Harry P inspired stuff) is wortha watch, especially part 1, which even I am impressed with...oh hell!
He has been using AE since 13, and allegedly is a bit of a wizard with it - I do know he puts in serious hours post prod editing and fx. Will post links as and when I  know more...

The delay works well on this one I think and adds to the soundscape. But you don't need it, your voice would sound great without it as well!

it's longer, quieter, more thoughtful arrangement (I hope), with a more tuneful solo, still struggling with the vocal mix towards the end... but getting the hump!!

Honestly ... I like the first version best.

I think the heavy rock part is perfect where it comes in ...

Then the lead guitars mixed with the vocals at the end puts me over the edge.

But I do like the thunder in the second version ... now I'm wondering ... shit
