inspired by the possibility of a one chord fest i got lost in a chord but ended up using more than one. tons of bum notes , mistakes, miss timing which all contributed to the lyrics.

i found a chord and went with it
tried to play around and see where i could go with it
after a while i got bored
so tried to find another one
ooooooooooohhhhhh
i stared across the room at my guitar
it looked oh so forlorn and lonely
i picked it up and gently strummed
then quietly put it back down again
ooooooooooooooohhhhhhh
this search for inspiration
is never ending
sometimes it pops out of thin air
sometimes you'll never find it in a million years
it's just not there
it's just not there
oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh
ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh
i found a chord got lost in it
spent the day caressing it
my fingers slipped
out of time
my fingers locked
my fingers jarred
my fingers hurt
 my fingers bled
i found a chord

Hey ORH - This song reminds me of one of those Molly Ringwald movies from the 80's. Must be that synth.

I like the way you just sing what comes into your head, and it all fits in the end.

P.S. Sounds like you did find another one in this song though.
It ain't pretty being easy.

Okay to Cover
