Edward, do you have music editing software on your computer? If so, which program do you use?

I use Adobe Audition. Very nice for editing and synching tracks.

I do not do a lot of anything with music editing software.
I do have Audacity, but I never use it.

Is there a quicker way to output MP3 files with the MicroBR?

Speed Demon

Edward, to the best of my knowledge, the BR, MBR and eBand all generate their files in WAV format.
Easy to convert, though. First copy the WAV file, or files, you want to convert to a flash drive.
Now copy them onto your computer.
Run Audacity then load the WAV file into it. Now save it again as an MP3 file.

You might want to get familiar with Audacity. It's a pretty good music editor, and at the nice price.
Lots of folks here use it so feel free to ask questions on its usage.
I'm not one of them. I use Adobe Audition for all my musical disasters.

Have fun!

That is one of the reasons I was happy to see this forum.  If I read more about using it.. and try to use it more, it might become a useful tool for me.

It does become a LOT easier with usage. Almost second nature, in fact. It's just a journey, and you have to start somewhere. It's like having Abbey Road in your pocket once you get the hang of it.

I also use a free version of Audacity for mixing multiple tracks and adding sound fx / production fx when the need arises. It's a good, if fairly basic, tool.

And Wavepad is a nice (free) little program for WAV to MP3 conversion and file trimming etc.

Welcome Edward !!

The micro is a life-changer once you get the hang of it ;D

There's a lot of info and a lot of helpful people here if you need any help on that shiny little box.

Like Greeny said ..... you've got Abbey Road in your pocket (and he should know, he recorded half of it on his mbr ::) )
