Bed Head - remixed

My sons laugh at my songs and routinely offer suggestions. One of those suggestions was "Dad, you need to make one that has a steady beat."  So I re-tooled this one to give it a steadier beat and added some vocals.  It contains a break I've used before and is a steady subject:  Who hasn't had a bed head?  (remixed 10-26-11)

This is very cool, great beat, great subject, and don't worry about your kids laughing at you...it is every dads job to embaress their kids whichever way possible - I once sang 'what would you do if I sang out of tune' to one of my daughters friends, she replied 'I'd leave' and walked off... I was a broken man

Cool song, and I think the steadier beat is a good idea...but don't tell your sons that

Yeah, I messed up on the beat and the project file is lost, so I can't fix it, I just have to live with it.  Thanks for the honest critique.  It is a good concept handled a little loosely, I'm afraid.  Thanks for the affirmation on behalf of all dads.  I once had someone say "You're gonna hate me but this sounds ugly."  Many of my friends don't get it. I come here to get a few kind words.  Vic

My response would be ...  "Why?  Anyone can make one with a steady beat!!!"   ;D ;D ;D

Cool stuff!!!

I love what's going on in the background and that steady beat, I'd bring them up in the mix a bit because you lose the power of that beat a bit because the vocals are quite loud. Great fun and I love that change at about 1:40.

Finally! I found the project file and hopefully mixed it a little better.  Re-mixing a cold file is awfully hard.
