Stupid question already!

Told you I'd have questions, here's one already ;D It's probably stupid and obvious, but there you go.
I usually come up with my best stuff ( that's laughable anyway!) when I'm sitting and just fiddling about, and I usually use a Zoom 505 effects pedal. Is it OK to plug this into the BR?

No worries man. Go ahead and plug that bad boy into the GTR input. My only suggestion would be to turn the effects on the MBR off first to get a feel for how just the zoom unit sounds. You can adjust stuff afterwards, but you'll definitely want stuff like delay off and just use the delay on the zoom instead (or experiment to your hearts content.)

I'm not familiar with the Zoom 505 but i'm assuming here that it basicaly acts as a guitar preamp. If it has headphone outs, you can connect that into the LINE input and record in stereo if you wish. I'd try both inputs to see which sounds better or has less noise and go with that.

Excellent quote, hewho.  I have one of these old sonofaguns lying around somewhere.  Plug'r on in and go to town!

Thanks guys, I'll do that.
There's only one thing that worries me about recording stuff-------------it'll prove how cr*p my playing really is :'(
