Tried this yesterday with the lad (he can hit those high intro oohs, I can't!), came back to it today while he was in bed. I think this is the best of the takes even though I know there is a bum note around 3:15, my wrist is killing me and my fingers are dead, but just had to try.....
Song is one of my all time favs, going back to age 16 with the best of the Stones on dodgy cassette... and this song is just fab
Anyway..enjoy  :)

WOW .... you've really got a great full sound for a LitLR recording ! And what a fab performance.

Oh well ........

This is a really strong acoustic version. Top notch performance of a classic.

Agreed, I love this song too, however... Though for many years I thought it was a Sisters of Mercy original, lol!

Your versions seems absolutely fine!

This is nice work. Excellent vocal as well.

Are you playing an amplified acoustic guitar?

Had to give this a listen as its an all time favourite of mine...and this is an inspired take on it...might not listen to the original in the same light again!! ;)

thanks for the very kind comments, I do DI the accoustic but try to keep it lower gain than the mic, so that the NT1 gets a bit of both from 9-12 inches I guess...

Tangled Wires

Yet another top notch LitLR song from you, and an unbelievably good quality recording. Such a huge sound you create with your vocal and a guitar, really does add a raw power to this song.

Fantastic job, I've always liked this song too, I was particulary in to this version when I was at college.

I like jamming the riff,..........can't be easy on an acoustic tho!
