I hope to put lyrics to this one.  Have some ideas but can't nail the tag line.  Was going to use "Just can't find my way" but it's been done to death.  :-[

If anyone has any ideas and wants to add a VOX (BTW, I assume that means voice-over?), I can post the backing track without leads.  8)

Thanks AzJoe71!  Hey, is that my guitar in your avatar?  Ah, nope you have better pickups.  What kind is it?  Mines just an Agile 3100 but makes me fell like I have a Gibson.  ::)

Here's the no lead backing track if anyone wants to play with it. ;)

Thought I'd bump this with a link to it with "vocals" if anyone is interested.....  ::)

i like this a lot. i would like to add some bass and maybe a bit of clinky strat lead as well. um maybe some keyboard too.
promise not to sing though!!!!

That's a real nice groove and some nice guitar work. You should see if you could encourage Forte8 to add some vocals on this - his voice would go well with it. Lots of potential here - some guitar work from Witchita might be nice as well.

BTW, vox = short hand way of writing "vocals".

Cheers,

Nigel

Nigel - thanks for the good words!  Hopefully Forte8 will read this as I can use the help on the vox for sure.... ::)

Tony - great parts!  Gives the tune a whole new feel.  Wish your additions were a touch louder in the mix however (see below).

Maybe a new collab. in the works here?  ;D

BTW, that brings up an idea for collabrations in general I wanted to mention.

Ideally besides posting the updated mix with the added part(s), it would be very helpful to also upload the individual track used as well.

That will allow for more mixing options by others who might "hear" the mix different as well as to prevent parts from getting buried too deep after lots of bouncing.

the ping strat sounds ok.
i kept the keyboard in the background so not to drown your playing.

Tony, don't get me wrong, your mix is perfect!  My concern is say for taking one of your tracks and adding it to my other vocal version or one of the dozen other mixes of this tune I haven't posted.  8)
