plugged the juno di into my laptop and messed about with a vst instrument called Kore player 2. played live to two tracks on the mbr, then added drums n keys directly from the juno to another two tracks etc etc etc and sang a couple of times.

lyrics inspired by a bbc horizon documentary of the same name.

lost in escape
somewhere to hide
below the line
beyond beside
a crack appears
a world dissolves
only dark matter
holding it together
is everything we know about the universe?
is everything we know about the universe?
Wrong?
a search to find
what may collide
whatever 'verse
we do reside
is everything we know about the universe?
Wrong?

I don't know how you did it, but the musical bed is perfect for the subject at hand. I like the lyric you put to it. I've learned that you'll tackle just about anything and you come through every time.

Astronomical talent!  :)   I like the panning of the background vocals, especially the bit at 2:30. The BR's auto-pan effect, I assume? Sounds great with headphones. Cool synth playing too.

Very fascinating ambient music track, James!!! Sounds great via headphones! The video is hypnotic - I'm on my third watching...

Quoteauto-pan effect, I assume?
i used guitar effect no72 pan & delay and recorded to two tracks panned full left and right. i use that effect quite a lot, a similar effect can be achieved using guitar effect 22 the name of which i cant recall right now. st something. tho that effect gives the voice a tinny metallic tone, i should really look at tweaking that effect but i tend to use effects as they are set.
