This is a test to see if I can link to the Soundclick player. This song, Leavin' In The Mornin', is the companion song to my other acoustic blues song, Back Home Blues. It's the first in the story. I'm playing all the instruments and singing the parts. The acoustic is my Ibanez direct to the VF160 and the electric is my Les Paul into a 1966 Bassman amp. The drums are a machine. Harmonica is a cheapo $3 Chicago Blues harp. I hope this works...if it doesn't I guess I will have a post with no song attached, lol! Here goes.................

Oustanding blues, love it! Your vocals are excellent, and the playing is quality, love the tone on the Les Paul
very, very cool. It is this kind of quality that is re-inspiring me to play/practice and write like I have not done in years.

Cheers

Another fantastic Farrel song..re original great blues sound

dylan had. that thing is big would love to see u play , never

I came to this from a thread aboutsimple vs complicated songwriting.  This song illustrates the personal taste way of looking at things.  It is an example of a style of play that is revered in certain corners.  And yet there are examples of more simple types(?) of blues that move in different circles of taste, the kind you might hear a street musician playing outside of a supermarket.  This is street musician dressed up in Sunday-go-to-meeting clothes.  Does this make sense or am I struggling in quicksand?

Thanks Andy, Bluesberry, T.C. Elliott, pjd1, Tony, Donna, Neil, and Vig! I'm glad you liked my blues song.

Neil- definitely hang on to that 60's Dylan style harp your dad left to you......it's priceless in several ways.

Thanks!
