If anyone is into that kind of thing, I created a blog where I plan to post my reactions to classic literature as I read it.

There are entries for "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley and "The Invisible Man" by H. G. Wells.

Feel free to comment... like I said, if you are into that kind of thing!

Nice idea FF. I've devoured thousands of classics, so if you're ever after some suggestions on books worth checking out (or avoiding!), let me know  :)

One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich - Solzhenitsyn

I really loved reading Dostoyevsky years ago........Crime and Punishment, The Idiot and The Brothers Karamazov....just loved those to bits, so bloody good.

Yeah - those Russian boys are damn good! Anna Karenina by Tolstoy is a real belter too.

On my list so far is:

Crime and Punishment - Dostoyevsky
Anna Karenina - Tolstoy
Metamorphosis - Kafka
20000 Leagues Under The Sea - Verne
Sentimental Education - Flaubert (I don't remember why this is on my list)
Moby Dick - Melville
Kim - Kipling

I'm sure this will change as I go.
