Lyrics to the original version;

Thunder on the horizon
I always thought there'd be a chance for us
Thunder on the horizon
I always thought that you would honour us

But what is life
When the sun goes down?
Who can see the world in all it's shapes [shades]?

What is life
when the sun goes down?
I will not let you slip away...

Thunder on the horizon
I always knew that you were the wrong sort
Thunder on the horizon
Now you've confirmed everything I ever thought

But what is life
When the sun goes down?
Who can see the world in all it's shapes [shades]?

What is life
when the sun goes down?
I will not let you slip away...

There was a time When I thought I knew you
When I thought you were the best thing in the world
But time has changed that
Now I don't want you anymore
And you're Just getting in the way

So, go on, get out!

I DARE YOU....

Thunder on the horizon
You alway said that you would never leave
Thunder on the horizon
Now I know why I should never believe you
Believe you...

It is not my style (should keep off my cowboy hat...) the full arranged version, but this one 'live' is really beautiful - I find beautful and expressive the rock chord changes applied to a more acoustic style. Am I wrong you're not singing the 3 verse?

On the live version, all the stuff after the solo was more or less improvised on the night, so no verse 3, or the whole wierd monologue middle either.

The last section was very moving and I liked it a lot.

Big thumbs up!!
