'Up the Swanee' is a British expression for when things go wrong or are lost / wasted- e.g. "I just put a bet on that horse, and the f*cker fell at the first fence. That's another tenner up the swanee..."

It's the same as 'up the creek without a paddle'

Have I ever told you how much you're like an Ogre? I mean an onion? I love your layers.  You build a track so well, and your use of guitars is always much deeper than how I use guitars. It's a little wonder every time I listen to one of your tracks. On this particular one I like the vocals and the melody quite a bit. The chorus is catchy but not too catchy. It's just right if you know what I mean.
