Thanks for the comments, fellas!

Quote from: badrail on December 27, 2012, 05:31:54 AMGreat subject matter (makes you think about the past) and fabulous execution on the guitar, congrats!! Have you considered adding bass and drums? (almost makes me want to give it a try) Have a great day!

Thanks Badrail! I have almost forgotten this one... I haven't considered adding bass and drums, because I recorded this for Live in the Living Room-fest. But, if you want to add them - go ahead!!! I'm not sure did I use metronome on the recording...normally I do. If not, then the drum track programming may be tricky or even impossible if you haven't real drums...

If you can make it, it is better to post on the new thread, because this is a LitLR songpost. If you want, you can record a cover version of this - it's up to you.

Cheers,

Hello!
I was listening to this again and it seems you almost have an internal metronome, your beat is a very steady 122-124 BPM, I think it would be challanging to add drums and bass, but quite possible. I just might give it a try when time permits. I have a few more originals to record then I'll see what I can do.  Something interesting about the Ford Cortina you have in the lyrics, my first car back in high school (1971) was a 1961 Ford Anglia 105E, American left hand drive import version. Wish I had that back!!!

Have a nice day!

LOL! When I had recorded this, I must admit that "...Skippy Kangaroo...!" reminded a bit of Geir's voice, too :) .

What happens if you make a collage of some of Redler and Ella's music.... fun stuff..... and the more I listen to these folks the more blown away I get...superior talent Mr. Redler has in making tracks... your use of special effects is astounding so making a collage of a small bit of your stuff was very much fun....AND Ella's angelic ethereal vocals are icing on the cake!

Thanks a lot, Stephen! Very psychedelic and experimental potpourri. I'm honored that our music has inspired you. I download this onto my mp3 player. Thanks again!

wonderful remix, and ...  listening to Sun Dream again, I find I'm able to appreciate the lyrics also, and what a lyric ! (it took ten years to see that there are other things than guitar in a song LoL !)

Heard "Little Bird" on the way to work and it reminded me of this song and collage...
bump because i love this song and I love the collage on page 4 of the comments that I made (with Redler and Ella's permission).... of some of their work...
It's called "Redler's Dream" and is quite interesting... I especially like the very first part... it's easy to get lost in some of this music....
