Uploaded this new song: the back track is made with a funny on line program called jam studio. Just a happy tune at about 110 BPM I can tune my feet on to walk faster ... [reverbnation]10423377[/reverbnation]

Very nicely done. Great separation and panning on the component parts to give a lovely spacious feel to the mix. The playing is excellent - and uplifting! Love the driving acoustic layer that keeps it all together, and the tambourines that increase the instensity when they come in. Lovely.

Beautiful track, it's so organic and lively. Great construction. How much of this did you actually play?

I liked the first one you posted in here and this shows another side from you; you've written a laid back guitar tune. Nice job...a very laid back song! Thanks for sharing it!

Oh.... thank you all, and, you've made me happy again!
since you're curious about jam studio I'm gonna answer, because I was curiosus too of what you can do without musicians... Lately, when not in my house with audacity, I'm recording all of my songs with a dear friend in his 'super' home studio, whith him playing along with me. One day I came up with this pre-recorded track and he was surprised too (laughing: "so you don't need me anymore....", or something like this) - no I said, you're wrong: let's jam on it - so me at telecaster and him at rickenbacker guitar: that's what is actually played, only the two lead guitars. The other sounds are realistic cause are pre-recorded by real musicians, but there are pro and cons in jam studio.
pro: sounds 'perfect', you can make them play any rock instrument you want, and you can plan the volume, and the start and stop of any instrument so to make the song 'grow', adding layers and layers  as the song goes on (yes the tamburine is the final surprise, I love it the best too).
cons: there are few simple chords, and your backtrack just can't swing and can't do a crescendo.
in other words, you can't do the blues with it... but it is still funny!
ps about the panning, I remember that Franco my friend was quite sure of his method of really separating the guitar tracks, not being afraid of having them one on the left, one on the right channel.
