Whoa, that's some stunning acoustic blues playing, in my humble opinion! I really like how smoothly it transitioned from a solo to full band ensemble sound.

Nicely done, Farrell!

Thanks Steffen! This song is all real instruments played by me with the exception of the drums, which is played by my friend Kurt. I have the acoustic tuned to a low Cmaj. open tuning......it took a bit to learn the scales in the open tuning but it was fun getting it down. I include the acoustic version of it in my solo shows.

Wow Vox comes out of left field at you. Well done. Fine acoustic playing. And the harp. I like the assembly. The clean electric has a sweet tone and is well done. I'd love to see this live. It definitely has a great blues feel. Intense.

Thanks Glenn and Kari! The clean electric is my Epiphone Casino hollow body with P90 single coil pickups through a small Marshall amp, mic'ed with a Shure SM57. I'm glad you like it!

Wow, this caught me out. There I was thinking you were a country singer and player and here you are playing blues like you were born to it. I hope you realise you now have to have a blues name like "Lame Farrell Jackson" or "Snake  Eye Jackson"  ;D . Joking aside this is top quality..............Willie

If all the old Mississippi delta blues men were alive today they would be snapping their fingers and dancing to
your music.

"Pass me that moonshine, son, I'm partying tonight!"

Well Done!

Thanks Willie! Country Rock is one of the many genres that I live in......have you heard my progressive rock side? I have a couple blues songs that go back to back in the story line. Back Home Blues is the second of the series...the first is called I'm Leavin' In the Mornin'....... I may have to post that up under the blues moniker of Blind Action Jackson  :D

Thanks!

Man, I really dig this. Loved that last line! The instrumentation was freakin' fabulous. This was a blues clinic.
