LitLR - "While my guitar .. aint no love" Geir covers Beatles/Bobby "Blue" Bland

I know there already several excellent covers of "while my guitar gently weeps here, but I thought I'd try a really stripped down version of it. I also wanted to do "Ain't no love in the heart of the city". I know the whiteshake version far better than the original, so I chose to use those lyrics to not mess it up more than necessary. Well, for some reason or another I decided to stick those two together. I had to do some takes to get both songs right in the same take.

I also used a dynamic mic that I blended in, but that wasn't behind the pop-shield, just inside a sock

This was a really good blend of songs, Geir.

I've never heard 'Ain't no love in the heart of the city', but it reminded me a bit of a Doors song (maybe it was the minor seventh chords?). Nevertheless, it was an excellent fit with WMGGW.

Of course your performance and recording are impeccable, and a great listen!
