lolita by hooper and orh the final mix

hi this is on another thread but its a long one so i thought i'd post this here.

this is the final mix of the song lolita.
ken (hooper) did all the music, mixing and backing vocals and came up with the original concept. all i did was write the lyrics and sing them, the guidance from ken as to the theme for the song meant it basically wrote itself.

Lot of talent in this tune. The progression kind of reminds me of Thin Lizzy's slow version of "Don't Believe a Word."  I'll have to dig it out to see how insane I am.  Great background singing.  And as always, nice, spacious mix.

Was fun tonight to see this one pop back up after nearly 3 years. Hadn't heard it in about that long.  I used one of those online English-to-Spanish translators to get the words for the backing vocals (ella es tan hermosa).  It's intended to say 'she is so beautiful'.  But I know sometimes those computer translators get things mixed up. Just hope it doesn't say something like 'she has a nose like a dog'
