Roland has announced some new products. No new multitrack recorders but there are a few items that might be of interest to some of us.

R-26 Portable Recorder

What's interesting about this is that it has a touchscreen. I wonder if we can expect that in future BRs? I hope not. I think real controls are much better.

FB-2 Feedbacker/Booster

If this can generate feedback on its own without using an amplifier, it would be great for recording on the BR. But I couldn't tell from the information available if it causes the amp to feedback or if the feedback is generated entirely within the pedal.

RC-300 Loop Station

R-MIX Audio Processing Software

This looks like an interesting piece of software. According to musicradar.com, it is expected to ship in December with a street price of £85 (which is about $135 US at today's exchange rate).

T.C. Elliott

I've been wanting a loop pedal to play with and see if I can't do stuff with it, but at this point I'm afraid it'll be more of a toy than a useful tool so price might be an issue. Then this comes along and looks awesome.. and expensive (considering it's usefulness for me.) G.A.S. again *sigh*

Hook

I want that loop station (drool drool drool)! I wish they would combine the ME-50 with the loop station but this looks very cool. I use the RC-20 and I really want the 3 independent loops. Thanks for the update 64!
Rock on!

I agree.  It is the only thing missing from the ME 50.  I guess it is a deliberate move not to have everything in the one unit.  Makes people like you and me have to go out and buy 2 bits of kit instead of one.
