Love the DADGAD tuning BB! The thumb pick is working because the low strings are coming through loud and clear. I've tried the thumb and finger picks before but never could get comfortable with them. This song is a fine addition to the LITLR Fest!

Nice live sound on the LIVE-REC EH? That sounds like you are right beside me as it should.

That seagull sounds awesome and great playing Dave. Nice puppy too! Love to have one of those too
but no time for any more children. You should do more of these Live acoustic sessions :)

Well I got here in the end, lol. This is magnificent, Dave. And it really does sound live - as close to being there as it's possible to be. Your playing is wonderful - folky, playful and soulful all at the same time. And it has your trademark skill of making an original sound like a long-lost classic.

So incredibly fine! Woof!

Yes, often the first take is the keeper. It may not be perfect but the feel is main thing and perhaps the most difficult.

Oiye!!! I forget that hitting reply will cut off the song *grrr* That tells you I need to be here commenting more often is all.

Okay, I love the playing.. the drone sounds work very well with your playing and melody. The thumb pick seems to work very well.. are you using finger picks as well? It almost sounds metallic or like metal finger picks... you've got an almost sitar sound on it that seems to work really well. I really enjoyed listening to the first half, gotta go back and play the rest now that I've made a comment.
