Continuing my recycling project and re-recording old songs of mine now that I have the BR800
First crack at the on-board drums. Not sure about them 'cause they sound a bit mechanical but I wanted a hip hop/jump sort of feel.
A friend told me his son used this phrase on him and I liked it because it's also applies to holding back on love.

Let go of the wheel.
(B)I am (A)addicted,(E)(A)addicted to (B)you
You seem conflicted, too conflicted to choose
you have been pleasing, pleasing me
But are you teasing, just teasing me
CH
(girl you got to) (A)let (E)go, (B)lose (Gb)control.
(A)just (E)tell me (B)how you (Gb)feel
(B)Let (Gb)go (A)let (E)go, (Gb)  let go
Let go of the (B)wheel

With you it's sunshine, sunshine or rain
With you it's ecstasy, ecstasy or pain
You are so confusing, confusing me
that's abusing, you are abusing me.
CH
I'm not concerned, concerned with history
But all I've learned, you're some kind of mystery
maybe you're afraid, Afraid of what you'll feel
You got to let go,let go, let go of the wheel.

Great tune!! Absolutely worth of recycling! I listened the first version at first and I liked this new one a lot! Nice guitar tones and I liked the drums, too. Hi-hat sounds cool. Well done!!

Cool take!  I've listened to the original a dozen times at least and love the heck out of it!  Now you give us V2!  I like it a lot!

One thing about the drum kit choice (pattern choice is fine BTW) is that electronic bass drum sound.  It personally bugs me but maybe that's just me? :D

Great song, I really love your guitar work! Add some reverb to your drum track, I add around 30-40 percent and that really helps the cymbals and makes it a little warmer. I don't know the 800 but on the 900 there are drum set choices so you might want to check that out also. Sounds Great!
Rock on!

Hey Glenn, I see 3 comments now on the drum track (hint, hint).

BTW, as to the extreme panning on the drum track I sent you, I found that just bouncing it using the BR "mic:vocal comp2" effect completely takes care of it for some reason and moves all the instruments where they should be near the center.

Again, just love this version of your fine song!
