I have done this one at least once before. Sorry for repeating.
I'm using it as a learning device for the BR 800.
Based on some jazz chords I liked. Trying hard to keep it simple.
With the exception of the DR880 drum track, it's all done on the BR800 including on-board condenser stereo mics for Vox. I like 'em!!

Wow! Beautiful music, Glenn! The production is stellar - great tones and the rhythm track is just fine.  This sounds a classic in my ears!! Really nice job!!

Well Glenn I like the jazzy under tones on this piece sounds like you got the new recorder down. Vocal, playing and general production sounded good on this end

Very kind guys thanks.

"the vocals ! What patch did you use ?"
patch P04 right out of the box.
I was in stereo mic INPUT but didn't spot that I was in the "LINE" Bank in COSM instead of mic.
So patch 04 was CM+BigEQ. Very sensitive input! But it works.
There was a bit of noise until NS brought up to about 70 on threshold.

Like the MBR, I put velcro on the back of the BR800 and stuck it on my mic stand platform so it faces me and sang about 6 inches away.

Nice job!  Seems like you're getting to know your BR-800 quite well.  As others have already mentioned, the production on this is excellent.

Wow!  The over-all clarity is amazing... and the tone on everything so good.  An interesting song but not an easy one, very well done.  Great guitars and voice as usual and a fine job on the drum programming.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Glenn... Love this song... very nice guitar playing and the Vox are top notch. Kinda has a Claptonish feel to it. BTW I love your pick... I see your a fan of the "Handyman's Secret Weapon"... Me too.

Oh yeah. Duct tape, velcro and Goop do it all.
In this case I jammed the tapered dowel in so hard I split the Mic cradle.
